Protocol to Tax Treaty between Bulgaria and Uzbekistan to be Signed

On 11 December 2019, Bulgaria's Council of Ministers approved the signing of a draft amending protocol to the 2003 income and capital tax treaty with Uzbekistan, which will update the treaty in line with OECD BEPS standards. The protocol will be the first to amend the treaty and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
