On 8 July 2014, Luxembourg and Tunisia signed a protocol to the 1996 income and capital tax treaty between the two countries. The protocol updates the article on exchange of information to bring it in line with OECD standards.
The protocol will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
