Protocol to the Tax Treaty between Singapore and Kazakhstan has Entered into Force

According to an announcement by the Singapore Ministry of Finance, the protocol to the 2006 income tax treaty between Singapore and Kazakhstan entered into force on 12 September 2014. The protocol was signed 9 April 2013, and brings the Exchange of Information article in line with OECD standards.

The protocol applies from 1 January 2015.
