Protocol to treaty between China (People's Rep.) and Mauritius signed

On 5 September 2006, a newprotocol to the income tax treaty between Chian (People's Rep.) and Mauritius of 1 August 1994 was signed. The protocol amends the capital gains article and extends the scope of the information exchange article and will take effect once the ratification procedures are completed by both states. Further details of the protocol will be reported subsequently.
