According to a release from the Qatar News Agency, the Qatar Cabinet approved a draft law on e-invoicing and its executive regulations during its meeting on 6 May 2026. Prepared by the Ministry of Finance in coordination with the General Tax Authority, the draft law aims to establish the legal framework governing the issuance of e-invoices and notices, enhance transparency, keep pace with digital transformation, and provide reliable databases for regulatory and oversight purposes.
