The National Assembly of the Canadian province of Quebec has published a motion for the approval of the pending social security agreement with Austria that was accepted for consideration on 6 April 2023. The agreement, signed 14 December 2022, will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1993 agreement between the two jurisdictions.
