Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry has announced that South Korea deposited its ratification instrument for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement on 3 December 2021. With the deposit, the RCEP agreement will enter into force for South Korea on 1 February 2022.
