On 27 February 2025, the Republic of the Congo published in the Official Gazette the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Tunisia. The treaty, signed 4 October 2005, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force one month after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
