Romanian Senate Approves Pending Protocol to Tax Treaty with Chile

On 12 December 2021, the Romanian Senate (upper house of parliament) approved the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Chile. The agreement, signed 26 February 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
