On 9 January 2024, Russia published two Official Announcements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the termination of the 1996 tax treaty with Denmark and the 2010 tax treaty with Latvia. The announcements confirm that these tax treaties are terminated with effect from 1 January 2024.
