Russia Considering Increased Taxation of Foreign Workers

The Russian parliament has reportedly sent a draft bill to the Cabinet of Ministers that would increase the individual income tax rate on foreign citizens working in Russia to 30%. The draft bill would also remove the right of such foreign workers to claim individual income tax deductions, such as the deductions for medical and education expenses.
