The Federation Council, the upper house of the Russian parliament, on 4 March 2021 adopted the law ratifying the protocol of 1 October 2020 to the Russia -Malta tax treaty. The authorization law had been approved by the Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, on 22 February 2021.
