Russian State Duma Considering Income Tax Exemption for Employed Women with Children

The Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament) is considering a draft law for the introduction of an income tax exemption for employed women. This includes an exemption on employment income of up to three times the minimum monthly salary for women under the age of 30 with one biological or adopted child. For women with two or more biological or adopted children, an exemption on employment income of up to four times the minimum monthly salary would be provided.
