According to recent reports, the Russian government approved reform legislation on 14 June 2018 that includes measures to:
- Abolish the regime for Consolidated Tax Groups
- Abolish transfer pricing control for domestic transactions, except for transactions in areas where reduced corporate tax rates apply, such as special economic zones; and
- Abolish the tax on movable property.
The reform legislation also includes the previously reported increase in the standard VAT rate from 18% to 20%.
