The Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) has issued an announcement that the deadline for submitting certified financial statements for 2020 has been extended from 31 March 2021 to 30 April 2021 for all taxpayers with the obligation to submit certified financial statements for 2020. The extension has been provided considering the challenges faced by taxpayers and auditing firms in the process of certifying statements while observing measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
