On 30 March the Rwanda Revenue Authority announced that Rwanda on 28 March signed the multilateral competent authority agreement on the automatic exchange of financial account information.
Opened for signature in October 2014, the agreement serves as a framework for implementing the OECD common reporting standard. Rwanda has committed to begin exchanging information by September 2025.
