The Rwanda Revenue Authority recently issued an announcement regarding the declaration of income tax for the 2022 fiscal year. The key point of the announcement is that deductible expenses for the year will be validated by the Revenue Authority system and will be accepted, as deductible, if supported by EBM receipts (e-invoicing system), customs declarations, withholding tax declarations, or acceptable e-payment confirmation (Mobile Money, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and MobiCash).
