Serbia's Institute for Social Insurance has announced that the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement with Azerbaijan was held from 18 to 20 February 2020. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force. The next round of negotiations is to be held in the second half of 2020, in order to finalize the text of the agreement.
