The new social security agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Czech Republic entered into force on 1 March 2023. The agreement, signed 18 May 2021, generally applies from the date of its entry into force and replaces the 1957 agreement between the former Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia as it applies in respect of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Czech Republic.
