According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, officials from Turkey and Ukraine met on 1 February 2019 to discuss bilateral relations including the planned negotiation of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreements will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
