The Government of Saint Lucia has announced a VAT amnesty on selected imports and tax penalties. This includes a two-year VAT exemption on imported medical equipment and building materials, and a two-year waiver of penalties, interest, and fees for the settlement of outstanding VAT arrears up to financial year 2021. The VAT amnesty runs from 2 August 2023 to 1 August 2025.
