The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) has announced the extension of certain measures introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes that deadline for submitting installment requests, the suspension of customs duties on imports, and the suspension of imposing fines and penalties are all extended to 30 September 2020. Further, the suspension of implementation procedures for the discontinuation of services and seizure of funds is extended until 31 August 2020.
