The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) has published a VAT E-Commerce Guideline. The guideline is meant to assist online store owners in meeting their VAT obligations, whether their activities are conducted via websites, social media platforms, messaging apps, etc. Key points include that owners of online stores with annual sales exceeding SAR 375,000 must:
