On 9 June 2020, the Saudi Cabinet approved for ratification the pending income tax treaty with Kosovo. The treaty, signed 20 October 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force on the first day of the second month after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
