On 9 March 2020, Senegal's National Assembly (parliament) approved Bill No. 2/2020 for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Turkey. The treaty, signed 14 November 2015, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
