The Serbian Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs has announced that officials from Serbia and the United Arab Emirates met 9 March 2018 to discuss bilateral relations and the joint implementation of a number of projects, including the signing of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
