The Seychelles Ministry of Finance has issued a release denouncing the EU Council's Decision to add the country to the EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions on 17 October 2023. This is the second time the Seychelles has been added to the list. It was first added in 2020 and subsequently removed in 2021. The release also calls for a review of the listing procedures to provide greater transparency, consistency, and equitable treatment.
