On 11 September 2024, the Seychelles Cabinet of Ministers approved the signing of the Multilateral Convention to Facilitate the Implementation of the Pillar Two Subject to Tax Rule (STTR MLI). The STTR MLI has been designed to help developing countries protect their tax base and allows for the implementation of the STTR in existing bilateral tax treaties without the need for bilateral negotiations.
