On 31 May 2021, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) published an updated e-Tax Guide - GST Guide for the Marine Industry (Third Edition). The guide explains the GST treatment for ships and certain ship and marine-related supplies. This includes that the sale or lease of goods and certain services supplied to ships can be zero-rated if certain conditions are fulfilled.
