The Slovak Republic has launched a public consultation on an amending protocol to the 2003 tax treaty with Moldova. The protocol will be the first to amend the treaty and includes changes to bring the treaty in line with BEPS and other OECD standards, such as the standards for information exchange. The protocol must be signed and ratified before entering into force. The deadline for comments is 19 June 2024.
