The Slovak Republic has published the Law of 30 March 2021, which contains various amendments, including an amendment to extend the application of a zero rate of VAT on personal protective equipment including, in particular, face masks providing respiratory protection as per EU regulations. The VAT zero rate, previously provided from 12 February to 30 April 2021, is now provided to 30 June 2021.
