According to a release published by the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA), Albania's Council of Ministers approved the signing of a social security agreement with Slovenia on 15 July 2026. The two sides concluded negotiations for the agreement on 4 February 2026. The agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
