On 8 December 2022, South Korea's National Assembly approved the ratification of the new income tax treaty with Turkey. The treaty, signed 22 October 2021, will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1983 income tax treaty between the two countries.
