On 20 October 2018, South Korea's National Assembly approved for ratification the pending social security agreements with Luxembourg, Peru, and Slovenia, which were signed on 1 March 2018, 1 March 2017, and 20 February 2018, respectively. The agreements are the first of their kind between South Korea and the respective countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
