South Korea Planning to Impose Tax on Cryptocurrency Transactions

The South Korean government reportedly announced a proposal on 17 June for the taxation of cryptocurrency. This includes a 20% tax levied on income derived from cryptocurrency transactions. Further details of the plan are to be issued by the government in July and will be published once available.
