Spain Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Romania

On 31 August 2018, the Spanish Cabinet approved for ratification the pending income tax treaty with Romania. The treaty, signed 18 October 2017, will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1979 tax treaty between the two countries. Details of the new treaty will be published once available.
