Spain has published the Resolution of 22 January 2025 in the Official Gazette, which orders the publication of the agreement repealing Royal Decree-Law 10/2024 of 23 December 2024. As previously reported, Royal Decree-Law 10/2024 provided for the imposition of a new temporary energy levy on major energy companies, effective in 2025. It is being repealed because the necessary consensus to approve its validation in the Chamber of Deputies was not reached.
