Sri Lanka Inland Revenue has issued a notice to taxpayers on the discontinuation of the Alternative Tax Payment System (ATPS) that was temporarily introduced to assist taxpayers in response to the COVID-19 situation. The ATPS is discontinued from 31 March 2021, with taxpayers allowed to make tax payments through the Online Tax Payment Platform (OTPP) that was introduced in February 2021, or to any branch of the Bank of Ceylon.
