On 12 June 2008 the parliament enacted the bill (Prop. 2007/08:146) adopting a new protocol to the Nordic Tax Convention. Representatives from the Nordic countries singed the protocol on 4 April 2008 in Helsinki, Finland, in the following languages: Norwegian, Danish, Finish, Faroese, Icelandic and Swedish. The protocol is expected to enter into force in 2008, and the changes are expected to have effect from fiscal year 2009.
