On 21 March 2018, the Swiss Federal Council announced its adoption of the dispatch on the country's tax reform proposal - tax proposal 17. If parliament moves as quickly as possible and no referendum is called (as with the previous reform attempt), certain measures could apply from 2019, while most would apply from 2020.
