The Swiss Federal Council has announced its adoption on 9 October 2019 of the dispatch on the approval of the pending protocol to the 2000 income and capital tax treaty with Ukraine. The protocol, signed 24 January 2019 ({News-2019-05-03/T/6-previous coverage}), is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
