According to a release from the Swiss Federal Social Insurance Office, the Swiss Federal Council has approved a temporary suspension of late payment interest on social insurance and unemployment insurance contribution due to the extraordinary situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The suspension applies retroactively from 21 March 2020 until 30 June 2020.
