Swiss Parliament Approves Pending Agreements on the Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information with Hong Kong and Singapore

On 17 September 2018, the Swiss parliament approved the pending agreements on the automatic exchange of financial account information with Hong Kong and Singapore. The agreements, signed 13 October 2017 and 17 July 2017, respectively, provide for the exchange of information under the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS), with the first exchanges to take place in 2019.
