Following its support of the OECD Member States' declaration to adopt the new global standard for information exchange, Switzerland 's Federal Council has announced the adoption of new draft negotiation mandates for the implementation of the upcoming global standard. The parliamentary committees and Swiss Cantons will be consulted on the draft mandates in the coming months, and the mandates should be fully adopted by autumn 2014.
