On 30 January 2018, the Tax Justice Network announced the launch of its 2018 Financial Secrecy Index, which ranks jurisdictions according to their secrecy and the scale of their offshore financial activities. The top five secretive jurisdictions are:
- Switzerland
- United States
- Cayman Islands
- Hong Kong
- Singapore
