According to recent reports, the tax information exchange agreement between Bermuda and Indonesia entered into force on 23 November 2017. The agreement, signed 22 June 2011, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and applies for criminal tax matters on the date of its entry into force and for other tax matters in respect of taxable periods beginning on or after that date.
