On 7 February 2024, India's Ministry of Finance issued Notification No. 21/2024 on the tax information exchange agreement with Samoa, which includes that the agreement entered into force on 12 September 2023. The agreement, signed 12 March 2020, is the first of its kind between the two countries and applies from the date of its entry into force.
