Japan's Ministry of Finance has announced that the ratification procedures for the tax information exchange agreement between Japan and the British Virgin Islands are complete and the agreement will enter into force 11 October 2014. The agreement, signed 18 June 2014, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and applies from the date of its entry into force.
