Taiwan's Ministry of Finance has announced that no decision has been made to extend the reduced futures transactions tax rate of 0.002%. A such, the reduced rate expired as scheduled on 31 December 2018 and reverted back to 0.004% from 1 January 2019. The Ministry may still consider a reduced rate but has not made any final decision.
