Tanzania and Vietnam to Continue Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to recent reports, officials from Tanzania and Vietnam met on 3 December 2024 to discuss bilateral relations and agreed to continue negotiations for an income tax treaty. Negotiations for a treaty first began in 2016. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
